On April 6, Grant F. Smith presented a comprehensive review of the US-Israel Free Trade Agreement to the Finance and Economics Council at the University of Rochester. Using a slide show of declassified documents and charts, Smith revealed how secret agreements and a joint Israeli embassy/AIPAC covert operation undermined US industries and the trade negotiating process. New quantitative analysis and disclosures reveal the US-Israel trade agreement is actually a $10 billion/year foreign aid program. Smith also discusses how major omissions in Dan Senor and Saul Singer's 2009 Council on Foreign Relations book Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel's Economic Miracle undermine their two major findings: that perpetual conflict gives Israel a comparative advantage and that the US should reinstate conscription in order to match Israel's entrepreneurial output. i recommend this for everyone.
i'm hitting replay now, will be burning to CD for safe keeping, as well as encouraging my kids to listen to. i'm off in this direction now for the foreseeable future.
planning to take full advantage of this gentleman's work. together with what i already know, this is like a doorway into a whole other level on this thing...exactly what i've been looking for - FACTS....just give us the info!
upshot (we already know): the smallest, most incredibly clever criminal cabal has managed to achieve unthinakable power and control simply because of a COMPLETE lack of what we can call humanity and ethics....LAWLESSNESS.
and they've created the illusion of being huge when they're pathetic and small and headed for JUDGMENT. at wilderness we know its a jewish/gentile combo (but what good does that do us when the thought police come out?)
the rest have been manipulated through one means or another (mythologies/religion/blackmail/base greed/etc), deceived, and so deceiving (i don't think God draws a distinction).....but the drivers are a whole other matter....
this lecture just set me on a new path - time to renew my library card and get back to the actual records and documents themselves, as i did years ago. personal research, the gatekeepers can stuff it.

House passes enhanced Israel cooperation bill

The U.S House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed bipartisan legislation that reaffirms and enhances U.S. policy commitments to Israel’s security.
The United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012, which was sponsored by House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and House Minority Whip Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), passed by a vote of 411-2. The legislation garnered bipartisan support from 294 co-sponsors prior to passage.
The two members that voted against the legislation were Reps. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and John Dingell (D-Mich.). Also, nine members of the House voted “present” on the legislation.
In addition to expanding military cooperation between the two countries, the legislation states that it will be U.S. policy to provide Israel with essential military capabilities to preserve its qualitative military edge in the region.
Some provisions appear aimed at assisting Israel particularly in any possible confrontation with Iran. The legislation recommends that the United States provide Israel with “air refueling tankers, missile defense capabilities, and specialized munitions.” Israel has sought an air-refueling capacity as a means to cover the distance to Iran in the case of a strike. “Specialized munitions” could include bunker busting bombs that could reach redoubts where Iran is suspected of building a nuclear weapon capability.
During floor debate, Cantor and Hoyer spoke out about the importance of this legislation to boost the U.S.-Israel strategic relationship.
“This bill re-affirms Israel’s right to defend itself against threats and puts Congress on the record about America’s long-standing commitment to the U.S.-Israel strategic relationship, a unique and special relationship founded on shared interests and shared democratic values,” Cantor said during his floor remarks. “This bill recognizes the profound threats the US and Israel face in the region and reiterates our commitment to standing side by side with Israel during this pivotal and dangerous period of transition and instability.”
Hoyer stated that the legislation was vital to increasing cooperation between the two countries so they “can further deter Iran from developing nuclear weapons capability and work together to combat terrorism that threatens both of our countries.”
“There needs to be a clear understanding by all those who would threaten Israel that the United States stands with her, because it is in our – the United States’s – security interest to do so, and because it is morally and ethically the right thing to do as well,” Hoyer said.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which lobbied for this legislation during its annual policy conference in March, released a statement applauding the bipartisan support for the legislation.
“This vote is a testament to the broad, bipartisan support of the American people for bolstering the ties between the U.S. and our ally Israel,” the AIPAC statement said. “The United States benefits greatly through enhanced cooperation with Israel, and this bipartisan bill recommends new avenues for the U.S.-Israel relationship to grow and strengthen in the fields of missile defense, homeland security, energy, intelligence, and cyber security.”
The U.S. Senate is considering similar legislation that is sponsored by Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.). The legislation has 32 co-sponsors, but no indication has been given as to when it will be taken up by the Senate.

Israel, US to allow expedited entry for travelers

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano are set to sign a declaration Sunday toward expediting entry for travelers between the two countries, Army Radio reported.
Israel will join a program to allow frequent travelers between the two countries entry without the hassle of checks.
The program allows business people, diplomats, and citizens with residences in both countries to undergo a comprehensive security check ahead of time in order to reduce hassles during travel.

We cover 4 items swirling around Israel. The U.S. House of Representatives voted 411 to 2 in favor of a "Let's Love Israel Even More" resolution (H.R. 4133 - "United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012") with further promises of armaments and fidelity. Then, we look into the dominance by Israel in the field of drones. Seems that Israel is now manufacturing drones in the US and has FAA clearance to fly them. How convenient for the U.S., since we are now seem to favor remote control killing with drones (a large number of the U.S. drones are controlled by the C.I.A. [Creating Insurgents Abroad - our suggested name change to comply with truth in advertising laws]). We Hold These Truths' Chuck Carlson heard all about Israeli drones back in 2002 when he visited Gaza where Israel was deploying them for surveillance.
