Post by strangelove Tue Apr 05, 2011 1:54 pm

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of making this youtube presentation on the Noahide laws.

Just finished part 3 on the Noachide world order...will put it up tonight.

The next part is gonna be pure Gospel. I might need a bit of help with this. I wanted to compile all the warnings that Jesus gave us about being wary of the traditions of men, the pharisees, fables etc. and also from the other books of the NT any other warnings along the same lines.

Can we get it all together in this thread please and then I can start on it. Thanks.

One question to start us off. Whats the difference between pharisees and sanhedrin?

As far as i know Pharisees where a doctrinal
faction that believed in the resurrection and Angels. While on the other
hand the Sadducees believed there was no resurrection or Angels.

The make up of the Sanhedrin probably comprised both Sadducees and Pharisees.

THE HERODIAN DYNASTY (ALONG WITH ROME):

http://www.jesus-messiah.com/prophecy/rev-13.html

We can see then that the seven heads previously mentioned must have connection with Israel as that is the focus of the Messianic fulfillment. These seven agree exactly with the Herods.

During the time of the reign of the ten horns in Rome there reigned in Israel seven Herods under that power.

These were the antichrist forces in world power at the time of Jesus and the Apostles up to 70AD.

Beware the Leaven Empty THE HEROD FAMILY

Post by zone Tue Apr 05, 2011 4:46 pm

Herod (Hebrew: הוֹרְדוֹס‎, Hordos, Greek: Ἡρῴδης, Hērōidēs), also known as Herod I or Herod the Great (born 73 or 74 BCE, died 4 BCE in Jericho,[1][2][3][4][5] according to one writer, 1 BCE[6]), was a client king of Israel.[7]

He was described as "a madman who murdered his own family and a great many rabbis."[8] He is also known for his colossal building projects in Jerusalem and elsewhere, including the rebuilding of the Second Temple in Jerusalem (sometimes referred to as Herod's Temple) and the construction of the port at Caesarea Maritima. Important details of his biography are gleaned from the works of the 1st century CE Roman-Jewish historian Josephus Flavius.

Herod's son Herod Archelaus was made ethnarch of Judea, Samaria, and Idumea (biblical Edom) from 4 BCE to 6 CE, known as the tetrarchy of Judea. He was judged incompetent by the Roman emperor Augustus who then made Herod's other son Herod Antipas ruler of Galilee from 6 CE – 39 CE and combined Samaria, Judea proper and Idumea into Iudaea province[9] under rule of a prefect.

Judaea (Roman province)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Judaea or Iudaea (Hebrew: יהודה, [size=9]Standard
Yehuda Tiberian Yehûḏāh; Greek: Ἰουδαία; Latin: IVDÆA) is the term used by historians to refer to the Roman province that extended over parts of the former regions of the Hasmonean and Herodian kingdoms of Israel. It was named after Herod Archelaus's Tetrarchy of Judea of which it was an expansion, the latter name deriving from the Kingdom of Judah of the 6th century BCE.

Rome's involvement in the area dated from 63 BCE, following the end of the Third Mithridatic War, when Rome made Syria a province. After the defeat of Mithridates VI of Pontus, general Pompeius Magnus (Pompey the Great) remained to secure the area.

Subsequently, during the 1st century BCE, the Herodian Kingdom was established as a client kingdom and then in 6 CE parts became a province of the Roman Empire.[1]

Iudaea Province was the stage of three major rebellions (see Jewish-Roman wars), including the Great Jewish Revolt (66-70 CE) the Kitos War (115-117 CE), and Bar Kokhba's revolt (132-135 CE), after which Hadrian changed the name of the province to Syria Palaestina and Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina in an attempt to erase the historical ties of the Jewish people to the region.[2]

The Tetrarchy of Judea was formed following the death of Herod the Great in 4 BC, when his kingdom was divided between his sons as an inheritance. It was dissolved in 6 CE when Rome formed Iudaea province by joining together Judea proper, Samaria, and Idumea (biblical Edom).[1]

Edom

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Edomite" redirects here. For the language, see Edomite language.
For the pottery, see Edomite pottery. For other uses, see Edom (disambiguation).

Edom (Hebrew: אֱדוֹם, Modern Edom Tiberian ʼĔḏôm ; "red"; Assyrian: Udumi; Syriac: ܐܕܘܡ; Greek: Ἰδουμαία, Idoumaía; Latin: Idumæa or Idumea) was a 1st millennium BC Iron Age kingdom of southern Jordan.[1] The region has much reddish sandstone, which may have given rise to the name.

During the revolt of the Maccabees against the Seleucid kingdom (early 2nd century BC), II Maccabees refers to a Seleucid general named Gorgias as "Governor of Idumaea"; whether he was a Greek or a Hellenized Edomite is unknown. Some scholars maintain that the reference to Idumaea in that passage is an error altogether. Judas Maccabeus conquered their territory for a time in around 163 BC.[6] They were again subdued by John Hyrcanus (c. 125 BC), who forcibly converted them to Judaism[7] and incorporated them into the Jewish nation,[8] despite the opposition of the pharisees. Antipater the Idumaean, the progenitor of the Herodian Dynasty that ruled Judea after the Roman conquest, was of Edomite origin. Under Herod the Great Idumaea was ruled for him by a series of governors, among whom were his brother Joseph ben Antipater and his brother-in-law Costobarus.

Immediately before the siege of Jerusalem by Titus, 20,000 Idumaeans, under the leadership of John, Simeon, Phinehas, and Jacob, appeared before Jerusalem to fight on behalf of the Zealots who were besieged in the Temple.[9] See Zealot Temple Siege for more information. After the Jewish Wars the Idumaean people are no longer mentioned in history, though the geographical region of "Idumea" is still referred to at the time of St. Jerome.[8]

The nature of Edomite religion before their conversion to Judaism is largely unknown. As close relatives of other Levantine Semites, they may have worshiped such gods as El, Baal, Kaus and

Matthew 9:26 News of this spread through all that region.

Matthew 9:31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.

Matthew 13:58 And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

Mark 6:14 King Herod heard about this, for Jesus' name had become well known. Some were saying, "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him."

Mark 8:15 "Be careful," Jesus warned them. "Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod."

Luke 3:1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar--when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene--

Luke 3:19 But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of Herodias, his brother's wife, and all the other evil things he had done,

Luke 8:3 Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod's household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Luke 9:7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. And he was perplexed, because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead,

Luke 13:31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, "Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you."

Luke 23:7 When he learned that Jesus was under Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.

Luke 23:11 Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate.

Acts 4:27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.

Acts 12:1 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them.

Acts 13:1 In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul.

Revelation 12:3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
Matthew 2:13
Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”
Matthew 2:16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.
Beware the Leaven Seven-heads

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are evil thoughts; ruin and destruction mark their ways.

Matthew 2:1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem

Matthew 2:7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.

Matthew 2:17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:

Revelation 12:4 His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.

British Freemasonry Covets Israel
By Barry Chamish
chamish@netvision.net.il
8-7-2

Perhaps only several thousand people in all Britain and Israel are aware that British Freemasonry and Royalty are totally convinced that Jesus was King Of Britain and was stoned to death in London, at Ludgate, the location of St. Paul's Cathedral. This conviction is based on a history many are going to find insulting. Nonetheless, it is vital to understand the thinking that has led to the 20th century slaughter of the Jews and the current attempt to annihilate Israel.

Initiates into the deepest secrets of British Freemasonry are taught that Jesus was born with an identical twin, Judas Thomas. Their mother Mariamne was the granddaughter of King Herod. She was raped by a Roman soldier named Tiberius Julias Abdes Pathera. In his time, Jesus was known as Yeshua Ben Panthera

Caesarea

Thinking Roman city, right? What gave it away? Yes, Caesarea is a city that Herod the Great dedicated to Caesar Augustus more than 2,000 years ago. Today, it is one of Israel's major tourist attractions and an increasingly popular place for Israel's elite to make their homes.
Just 15 minutes north of Caesarea, nestled in the mountains overlooking the sea, is the town of Zichron Ya’acov. Founded by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in 1882, the town is named after the Baron's father James (Jacob of Ya'acov in Hebrew). Before the Baron died in Paris in 1934, he said he wanted to be buried in the Holy Land. After the establishment of Israel, the Baron's son had his body and that of his wife reinterred near the town on the Heights of the Benefactor (the name given to Rothschild) or Ramat Ha-Nadiv. Today, the tombs are set in beautiful gardens filled with the varieties of plants the Rothschilds helped develop in Israel.

(Matthew 15:3) But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

(Matthew 15:7) Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
(Matthew 15:8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

(Matthew 15:9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

(Matthew 15:12) Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
(Matthew 15:13) But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
(Matthew 15:14) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

(Mark 7:8) For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
(Mark 7:9) And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

(Mark 7:13) Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

(Colossians 2:8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

(Matthew 16:6) Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

(Matthew 16:11) How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
(Matthew 16:12) Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

(Mark 8:15) And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

(Luke 12:1) In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
(Luke 12:2) For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
(Luke 12:3) Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
(Luke 12:4) And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Beware the Leaven Empty Re: Beware the Leaven

(Matthew 23:1) Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
(Matthew 23:2) Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
(Matthew 23:3) All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
(Matthew 23:4) For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
(Matthew 23:5) But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
(Matthew 23:6) And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
(Matthew 23:7) And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
(Matthew 23:8) But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
(Matthew 23:9) And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
(Matthew 23:10) Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
(Matthew 23:11) But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
(Matthew 23:12) And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
(Matthew 23:13) But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
(Matthew 23:14) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
(Matthew 23:15) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
(Matthew 23:16) Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
(Matthew 23:17) Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
(Matthew 23:18) And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
(Matthew 23:19) Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
(Matthew 23:20) Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
(Matthew 23:21) And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
(Matthew 23:22) And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
(Matthew 23:23) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
(Matthew 23:24) Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
(Matthew 23:25) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
(Matthew 23:26) Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
(Matthew 23:27) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
(Matthew 23:28) Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
(Matthew 23:29) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
(Matthew 23:30) And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
(Matthew 23:31) Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
(Matthew 23:32) Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
(Matthew 23:33) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
(Matthew 23:34) Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
(Matthew 23:35) That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
(Matthew 23:36) Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
(Matthew 23:37) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
(Matthew 23:38) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
(Matthew 23:39) For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
