THE DIALECTIC PROCESS Empty Re: THE DIALECTIC PROCESS

Dialectic process vs. dialogic process
In a dialectic process describing the interaction and resolution between multiple paradigms or ideologies, one putative solution establishes primacy over the others. The goal of a dialectic process is to merge point and counterpoint (thesis and antithesis) into a compromise or other state of agreement via conflict and tension (synthesis). "Synthesis that evolves from the opposition between thesis and antithesis." (Eisenstein, "The Dramaturgy of Film Form" 23). Examples of dialectic process can be found in Plato's Republic.

In a dialogic process, various approaches coexist and are comparatively existential and relativistic in their interaction. Here, each ideology can hold more salience in particular circumstances. Changes can be made within these ideologies if a strategy does not have the desired effect. An example of the dialogic process can be found in Nozick's, Anarchy, State, and Utopia.

These two distinctions are observed in studies of personal identity, national identity and group identity.
G. W. F. Hegel (1770-1831) introduced the concept of dialectic process to explain the progression of ideas.

M. M. Bakhtin, a Russian philosopher and Literary Critic has been credited with introducing the Dialogical process in Philosophy.

From Twisting Truth through Group Consensus:
"Tension, created by diversity, is essential to the dialectic process. It energizes members and -- when manipulated by well-trained facilitators -- produces synergy. You can't guide people toward synthesis (compromise) unless there are opposing views -- both "thesis and antithesis." That's why the consensus process must include all these elements:

a diverse group
dialoguing to consensus
over a social issue
led by a trained facilitator
toward a pre-planned outcome.

The true dialectic group never reaches a final consensus, for "continual change" is an ongoing process: one step today, another tomorrow. To permanently change the way we think and relate to each other, our leaders must set the stage for conflict and compromise week after week, year after year. Dialectical thinking and group consensus must become as normal as eating. Eventually, people learn to discard their old mental anchors and boundaries -- all the facts and certainties that built firm convictions. They become like boats adrift, always ready to shift with the changing winds and currents.

Introduction: Why study Hegel?
Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...

THE DIALECTIC PROCESS Empty THE PURPOSE

Post by zone Mon Apr 04, 2011 2:55 pm

Administration of Barack H. Obama, 2009
Proclamation 8357—Education and Sharing Day, U.S.A., 2009
April 3, 2009
By the President of the United States of America
A Proclamation

The education we provide our children must prepare them to succeed in a global economy and to contribute to their communities. Commemorating Education and Sharing Day, U.S.A., we underscore our commitment to a competitive and complete education.

The professional demands of today's workplace require a renewed commitment to education. Our youngest children need a strong early foundation. Standards must be raised, curricula must be enhanced, and teachers must be supported. Families, communities, and educators must collaborate to ensure that students are working hard and receiving the best instruction possible.

Yet knowledge alone will not bring the future our children deserve. Our schools and community institutions must also help each child develop a moral compass. Education must blend basic American values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and service. These indispensable elements will not only help children succeed in challenging work environments, they will also help our youth engage in and contribute to their communities.

Few have better understood or more successfully promoted these ideas than Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who emphasized the importance of education and good character. Through the establishment of educational and social service institutions across the country and the world, Rabbi Schneerson sought to empower young people and inspire individuals of all ages. On this day, we raise his call anew.

Now, Therefore, I, Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim April 5, 2009, as "Education and Sharing Day, U.S.A., 2009." I call upon all the people of the United States to look to the future with a renewed sense of civic engagement and common purpose.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this third day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand nine, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-third.

BARACK OBAMA
[Filed with the Office of the Federal Register, 8 a.m., April 7, 2009]

THE DIALECTIC PROCESS Empty Re: THE DIALECTIC PROCESS

Communitarianism, Amitai Etzioni, and the Kabbalah

Communitarianism is a “Third Way” compromise between Capitalism and Communism. Communitarianism is not Fascism nor is it Communism, but a synthesis of these opposing ideologies which preceded it. It draws government-business partnerships from Fascism and employs group decision-making from Communism. Communitarianism will resemble a corporate state (Fascism) in which the elite will work under capitalist rules to continue generating wealth while the working class will be controlled by Communist model laws. The Communitarian synthesis incorporates not only elements of Fascism and Communism, but also Globalism.

The impending economic collapse of the United States along with the financial markets of the world will create the conditions necessary for a global Communitarian society. U.S. President Barack Obama is a Communitarian whose Cabinet and staff will function as a Third Way governing board. It is significant that Barack Obama’s base as a “community organizer” was Chicago’s churches: “President Obama began his career on the South Side of Chicago, working with a coalition of churches to improve living conditions in poor neighborhoods. During the election, people all across the country talked about feeling a new sense of civic engagement and got involved in politics for the first time. Now, President Obama and Vice President Biden are counting on Americans from all walks of life to serve the nation and help address the problems we face—and they're committed to building the infrastructure and providing the resources that will make it possible.” 2.

Shortly after he took office, President Obama signed an Executive Order establishing the White House Office for Faith-Based and Community Partnerships. Churches who sign on with this faith-based initiative will be required to compromise in many ways, such as refraining from sharing the Gospel and employing non-believers in their programs. It appears there will be serious legal consequences for refusal to employ whomever may apply, even Muslims, Satanists, homosexuals and pedophiles:

“On February 5, 2009, President Barack Obama signed an executive order establishing the new White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (‘Faith-Based office’) which is intended to ‘work on behalf of Americans committed to improving their communities, no matter their religious or political beliefs.’ Per President Obama, ‘the White House Office for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships will be a resource for nonprofits and community organizations, both secular and faith based: looking for ways to make a bigger impact in their communities, learn their obligations under the law, cut through red tape, and make the most of what the federal government has to offer.’

“Obama’s overriding reason for establishing this office is because he believes that ‘our problems require an ‘all hands on deck’ approach, and that the federal government should enlist effective faith-based and community groups to help solve them.’ Of course, Obama’s strong support of faith-based and community partnership initiatives stems from his early years as a hands-on community organizer on Chicago’s South Side...

“The President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships...will be overseen by a 25-member advisory board of ‘religious and secular leaders and scholars from different backgrounds’ appointed to one-year terms. The Faith-Based Advisory Council will be headed by Rev. Joshua DuBois, the 26-year-old Pentecostal pastor who served as director of religious affairs for Obama’s Presidential campaign. Included on the influential Council are [Evangelical and Baptist ministers including]... Rev. Jim Wallis, President & Executive Director, Sojourners..., Dr. Frank S. Page, President emeritus, Southern Baptist Convention...” 3.

The following description of Communitarianism from the Rockefeller expose, Thy Will Be Done; The Conquest of the Amazon, shows how central the apostate church will be in the coming Communitarian global government: “…communitarianism, a system of church-centered community ownership of property that vaguely would include private ownership of homes and land.” 4. Authors Gerard Colby and Charlotte Dennett documented the tragic outcome of communitarianism in Latin America — a genocidal campaign conducted by death squads that were funded by Evangelical churches in the United States. (“Antipas: CIA Connections”)

According to Niki Raapana, co-founder of the Anti-Communitarian League, “The leader of the unheralded transition to a communitarian system in the U.S. is the Israeli Zionist founder of the Communitarian Network, Dr. Amitai Etzioni.” 5. Amitai Etzioni, born a German Jew named Werner Falk, is a former member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the founder of American Communitarianism, the founder and director of the Communitarian Network, and possibly the most influential man in American politics today.

According to Amitai Etzioni, “Nationalism must be ended. It is a creed that has come to burden the expansion of globalism.” 6. “The communitarian agenda is to eliminate all nations and establish an all-powerful, central global government.” 7.

Amitai Etzioni was a student of Martin Buber at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. 8. Martin Buber was a German Zionist Jew and a Kabbalist who embraced the teachings of Hasidism. “In addition to studying Kabbalah with Gershom Scholem, Etzioni worked with Buber himself…” 9. “…he [Amitai Etzioni] studied the Kabbalah and the Hegelian dialectic.” 10.

Why did Werner Falk change his name to Amitai Etzioni? Niki Raapana explains: “The Kabbalah is often described as The Truth Tree or The Tree of Knowledge (Amitai Etzioni means Tree of Knowledge from Zion).” 11. “Communitarian legal theory is based in part in the Kabbalah.” 12.

“Etzioni's new communitarian idea of ‘community spirit’ is based in the Talmud, Hegel, and the theosophical ideas expressed by Madame Blavatsky and Aleister Crowley. They, along with many other gurus, introduced Americans to the worship of Lucifer as the ultimate ‘light being.’ One Thousand Points of Light is a whole program based on Satanic ‘community oriented’ principles.” 13. The Talmud is the textbook of Jewish Rabbis and the basis of Judaism. The Kabbalah is the “blood and bone” of the Talmud.

THE DIALECTIC PROCESS Empty Re: THE DIALECTIC PROCESS

Post by zone Tue May 08, 2012 12:51 pm

this is a typical example of how we are told we (the public & other interested parties called stakeholders*) have reached CONSENSUS on an issue.

notice the overall agenda (global vaccination); and the need to engage the public to
1) gain consensus
2) assess public sentiment
3) be able to refine their PR to sell the agenda

notice the use of the internal manual to manipulate the public/perception through the small group, facilitated dialectical process; followed by analysis for stakeholders; and for the establishment of policy.

this deals with the topic of vaccines.

this is a gov't document, produced for corporations.

look at the number of "public" surveyed (oh that's a good cross section), and the way the questions were framed. no need to read the whole thing...what i've excerpted here is indicative of the dialectic, and scanning the table of Contents really says it all.

*stakeholders are of course, broadly, the corporations (we are in a fascist system - gov't exists to serve the corporation)....more precisely though, what is meant by "stakeholder" is not that they are stakeholders in shares in the company, but rather it means they OWN/TRADE IN HUMAN BEINGS (every person given a number, tagged, as in husbandry).

that's what they're talking about (scriture says they "make merchandise of us")

................

Citizen Choices on the National Vaccine Plan
A Report on the Public Engagement Project on Vaccine Priorities

Executive Summary
Public health decision makers often face situations in which decisions are difficult because competing values, with relatively equal weights, are at stake. Also, many problems today are complex and require the insights of multiple parties to be adequately understood and effectively addressed. The challenge is compounded when data are lacking or uncertain and there is no single scientifically correct decision or policy to be made. Choosing the highest priority activities for the National Vaccine Plan is such a situation. Most often in the past, such decisions have been made with the benefit of advice from a selected sample of representatives of stakeholder organizations who by their very nature have vested interests. Although such stakeholders are often experts and their input is useful and important, their advice can lack impartiality and representativeness and is often provided without consideration of the other values also relevant to decision making.

Obtaining the input and advice of a large and diverse number of individual citizens, who do not represent stakeholder organizations and who in a democracy best reflect public values, provides an overall societal perspective that can contribute to decision making and even can produce innovative solutions and novel policies.

The Public Engagement Project on the National Vaccine Plan was carried out to obtain such valuable and unique advice from a large and diverse number of citizens.

Three public engagement sessions were conducted in St. Louis, Missouri, Columbus, Ohio, and Syracuse, New York, in early 2009. A total of approximately 250 citizens—diverse in race/ethnicity, gender, education, and age—participated.

In daylong, neutrally facilitated plenary sessions and small groups, citizens learned about the status of the U.S. vaccine system, identified values that were important to them, selected the values that mattered most, and discussed and rated 12 areas of activity proposed in the plan. Based on the strength of the alignment of these proposed areas of activity to the participants’ most important values, citizens in at least two of the three cities judged the following to be their top priorities for action:

1.
Improve monitoring of disease and vaccines
2.
Make vaccines affordable and available to everyone
3.
Maintain high rates of vaccination of children
4.
Assure there is enough vaccine
5.
Improve vaccine safety

In making these choices, citizens reflected core public values centered on achieving equity, protecting the homeland, protecting the most vulnerable, having more education and awareness, and having concern for safety.

This unique advice derived from a large, diverse group of citizens using a series of daylong deliberative processes provides consistent evidence that what matters most to the public about vaccines is post-licensure improvements in their availability and use, especially for children. Proposed improvements in post-licensure vaccination of adolescents and adults and pre-licensure activities, such as research and regulation, greater international assistance with vaccines, and assured compensation for vaccine injuries, were judged to be of relatively less importance.

Decision makers choosing priority activities for the National Vaccine Plan are now better informed about what matters most to the public about vaccines and how the public translates these values into proposed actions and policies.

Giving citizens this real opportunity to make a difference in their government is well aligned with historic principles of democracy and the current national trend to increase participatory policy making in government.

highlight and point of all this: the topic of universal vaccination (eugenics) was researched by gov't for stakeholders, to conjure up 'consensus' among the public:

"A total of approximately 250 citizens—diverse in race/ethnicity, gender, education, and age—participated."

eyup.

Two hundred years ago, the German philosopher Georg Hegel propounded the Dialectical Theory upon which Karl Marx based his concept of "dialectical materialism." Hegel maintained that the history of mankind is evolving progressively to a point of total harmony through the recurring synthesis of opposing ideas. Practical implementation of Hegel's dialectic in the socialist experiment has succeeded in dismantling existing systems by mobilizing public opinion and transforming it into an instrument of the revolution. Global planners are now in the final stages of engineering worldwide social change through the same dialectical process. The mechanism, so successful in Communist China, was the cell group, and today we find various interest groups in the workforce, education and religion being subjected to the dialectical technique used in times past.

The appended article explains how the "The Process" occurs in group settings. In business and education, it is disguised by professional-sounding names such as Total Quality Management, Outcome-Based Education, School-To-Work, and Character Education. [See: Charter Schools, Character Education & the Eugenics Internationale for a revelation of the global forces that are processing children and their parents through the educational system.]

The dialectical process is found operating in the Christian community through the agency of parachurch groups, church cell groups, Internet forums and other interactive groups in which change agents manipulate unsuspecting participants into accepting a new belief system. Some Bible studies even fall into this category, as our report on Bible Study Fellowship reveals.

To achieve religious consensus, the global planners must first dismantle the old methodologies and church structures, replacing them with more "open" and "interactive" forms. The Open Church Ministries is a model of this restructuring process, creating discontent with orthodoxy and demand for change. Like the serpent in the garden, change-agents subtly inquire after the following manner: "Christian, are you unhappy because the worship service at your church is devoted solely to traditional hymns and the sermons on the Word of God? Do you want a greater voice in the worship service and church affairs? You need the Open Church concept, a new style of church where the laity is in charge and the pastor is relieved of his responsibilities so he can do the things he enjoys. Say goodbye forever to Spectator Christianity -- in the Open Church you can interrupt the service whenever you wish to speak or fellowship instead." [The foregoing is a modest paraphrase of the seditious content found on the website of Open Church Ministries.]

Open Church and other New Wave ministries neglect to mention that the new model of participatory membership involves the accountability of individual church members to unscripturally appointed leaders for purposes of control. Cell groups are the primary means of keeping close tabs on the personal lives of church members and group leaders are trained to keep databases of personal information on cell group members. [See: Fuller Theological Seminary for more information on the databasing of Christians.] Although the Open Church and other New Wave ministries claim to be taking the Church back to the New Testament model, the Cell Track software marketed by TOUCH Outreach Ministries for cell-based churches demonstrates that the Church is instead being prepared for the Brave New World!

‘Hunger Games’ social media video with Israeli roots hits the jackpot

It’s post-apocalyptic America and you’re in District 12 of Panem. With your bow and arrow, you are helping Katniss Everdeen hunt for meat and berries to bring back to your family. President Snow, the evil dictator, is planning the next Hunger Games, in which children are placed in an arena to fight to the death—and you might be chosen.

This is the world that Funtactix, a company founded in Israel, has created on Facebook along with Lionsgate and “Hunger Games” author Suzanne Collins....

...His Zionism and Funtactix’s Israelis roots were among the things that drew him to the company.

“Israel has a great deal to contribute to the global games industry. Funtactix is just scratching the surface,” Glassenberg said. “We have established a reputation in Hollywood for Israeli game development. We hope this will serve as a catalyst for a much larger games ecosystem in Israel.”

Indeed, he’d like to see Funtactix pave the way for other Israeli startups.

Pointing to the powerhouse Google, which recently announced its plans to set up an Israel-based “incubator” to host and fund about 20 entrepreneurs, Glassenberg says big companies want access to Israeli talent.

THE DIALECTIC PROCESS Empty Re: THE DIALECTIC PROCESS

Post by zone Fri May 18, 2012 1:11 pm

Zionism cannot be parve

Netanyahu and Mofaz’s new unity government cannot be trusted, for it lacks both Zionist extremes; without them, Israel is just like any other state and might as well pack up and leave.

By Matthew Mausner / Jewish World blogger May.18, 2012 | 3:30 PM

I don't trust the new Israeli government. Why? Because it lacks the most principled of Zionist extremes.
It empowers Kadima - a “centrist” party which openly and proudly has no principles - and this scares me profoundly.

When we act over the violent objections of committed Zionist minorities - the 1990s expansion of the settlement project, and the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza, for example - it's been devastating to Jewish unity, and arguably bad for us and our credibility in the world on many levels, regardless of whether you or I agree with the actual policies. By contrast, on several historic occasions, Israeli decisions have been essentially supported or at least accepted by both extremes: to go to war with Lebanon in 2006, to make peace with Jordan in 1994, are major recent examples which come immediately to mind.

Think about it: any decision that both Meretz-Yahad MK Yossi Beilin and right-wing activist Moshe Feiglin would agree on, you'd probably be OK with, and the decisions would probably be good for Am Yisrael. Anything they passionately disagree on, is probably bad for Israel. Even if the thing being discussed might be a good idea, or a good idea to you or your 'side', the very fact that it damages Jewish unity should make you think twice about its true validity.

A “unity” government deserving of the name would dare to operate by consensus in the true meaning of the word. One might think that this cannot work in hyperpolarized Israel; I beg to differ. I was exposed to actual consensus government, to see and sometimes even experience it working, among Quakers and American Indians (long story...).

At my Quaker summer camp community we had a knock-down drag-out town hall discussion to decide the theme of the town fair, between the partisans of “Sex and Ice Cream” and the partisans of - well, I forget the other proposal - but the passions were equal of anything I've seen even in Israel, believe it or not! However, we all had motivation to find a larger community modus vivendi together, and from that desire a third option was generated. That option addressed the concerns, desires and sensitivities of both extremes. It worked, everyone could live with it, and it was far more satisfying and participatory for all than a majority vote.

Consensus is thus something radically different from this coalition, from the common term 'the Israeli consensus'. True consensus, like discussions in the Talmud, honors the extremes, instead of marginalizing them. It believes that the strongly held values of the 'left' and 'right' are more important than the sentiments of the less-committed, 'moderate' middle. Acceptance of living in a consensus community means, I get to stand by my extreme opinion, to have it respected and even veto—but at the price of also accepting the opposite extreme's opinion and right to veto as well.

This creates a whole community of solution-seekers-- searching for paths or ideas, even out of the box or radical, that everyone can live with-- even and especially both extremes. The distinction between actually agreeing with a policy, and being willing to accept it, is crucial. Israel must go in this direction - not just because the values of the extremes come from deep commitments to their visions of Jewish identity and truth, but also because when the extremes really feel that over-my-dead-body desire to veto, they mean it, and we all lose.

Zionism is not and cannot be parve. It is a utopian vision, whether secular or religious or hopefully and eventually both. We should not, we dare not water it down by excluding the poles. Thus let's give both of them veto power in a true unity coalition. The world holds us to a double standard because we are not like other nations, and they're right: If Israel is here for mere “moderate” reasons, to be like any other state, that's not enough! If that's all, we should close Zionist shop, make it a one-state or pack up and leave. We don't have a choice about living in our small state with the Jews of the extremes, but that can be a blessing. We need the vision and the passion and the principles of those who believe in Israel most deeply. Beilin and Feiglin both with a veto. This would be a Zionism I could believe in.

Matthew Mausner is a historian, activist, and entrepreneur in Jerusalem. He is the founder of the New Jerusalem Talmud, a platform for critical thinking and a wiki for controversy, and works on projects toward bringing healthier discourse and unity to the Jewish world. He studies part-time at Yeshivat Sulam Yaakov.

True consensus, like discussions in the Talmud, honors the extremes, instead of marginalizing them. It believes that the strongly held values of the 'left' and 'right' are more important than the sentiments of the less-committed, 'moderate' middle...

...This creates a whole community of solution-seekers-- searching for paths or ideas, even out of the box or radical, that everyone can live with-- even and especially both extremes.

The Mind-Changing Dialectic Process

Training the masses to think collectively and serve a Greater Whole

by Berit Kjos

"The challenge to humanity is to adopt new ways of thinking, new ways of acting, new ways of organizing itself in society, in short, new ways of living."
Our Creative Diversity, UNESCO, p. 11.

“'How do we get a critical mass of people doing things differently? Through the sharing of generative ideas, ideas that can change how people think and act....What we as a planet need in order to transform how our large systems work is a network of people spreading ideas of interdependency and sustainability.' "
Peter Senge
Changing our organizations to change the world
(See Senge's part in transforming churches in Re-Inventing the Church)

"...absolute behavior control is imminent.... The critical point of behavior control, in effect, is sneaking up on mankind without his self-conscious realization that a crisis is at hand. Man will... never self-consciously know that it has happened." [1] Raymond Houghton
To Nurture Humaneness, ASCD (curriculum arm of the NEA), 1970

......

The power of DIALOGUE

This century-old plan [2] for “socializing” the masses gathered momentum when Julian Huxley, brother of Aldous, was chosen to head Unesco. Two years later, he wrote a book titled, "UNESCO: Its purpose and Its Philosophy." This 1947 blueprint for change called for a universal implementation of Georg Hegel’s dialectic process:

"The task before UNESCO... is to help the emergence of a single world culture with its own philosophy and background of ideas and with its own broad purpose. This is opportune, since this is the first time in history that the scaffolding and the mechanisms for world unification have become available.... And it is necessary, for at the moment, two opposing philosophies of life confront each other from the West and from the East....

"You may categorize the two philosophies as two super-nationalisms, or as individualism versus collectivism; or as the American versus the Russian way of life, or as capitalism versus communism, or as Christianity versus Marxism. Can these opposites be reconciled, this antithesis be resolved in a higher synthesis? I believe not only that this can happen, but that, through the inexorable dialectic of evolution, it must happen....

"In pursuing this aim, we must eschew dogma - whether it be theological dogma or Marxist dogma.... East and West will not agree on a basis of the future if they merely hurl at each other the fixed ideas of the past. For that is what dogma's are -- the crystallizations of some dominant system of thought of a particular epoch. A dogma may of course crystallize tried and valid experience; but if it be dogma, it does so in a way which is rigid, uncompromising and intolerant.... If we are to achieve progress, we must learn to un-crystallize our dogmas." [3]

....

Today, the Hegelian Dialectic has become the cornerstone not only of the global education system, but of "Quality" management in all kinds of governmental, corporate and private organization around the world. Meanwhile, the training programs, assessment technology and data tracking systems that complement and monitor this psycho-social process are growing increasingly sophisticated and intrusive.

As Julian Huxley declared more than half a century ago, dogma and absolute truth are out. And today’s postmodern America shows the effects of that revolutionary ideology.....

"Christianity versus Marxism."

that's all this has EVER been about....whatever name "Marxism" goes by at any given time.
