Germany, Israel 'Agree We're Not Agreed'
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said after a meeting with Israel's prime minister the two did not agree “on the question of settlements.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Thursday afternoon following a meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, that the two were not in agreement over a housing project being planned in an area on the outskirts of Jerusalem.

"On the question of settlements, we are agreed that we are not agreed,” Merkel told a joint news conference with Netanyahu in Berlin, according to AFP.

However, the two countries did agree that “one-sided measures must be avoided in the Middle East,” in a reference to the Palestinian Authority's recent bid for upgraded status at the United Nations as a nonmember observer state.

Germany abstained during a vote on the resolution, which was approved, granting the PA de facto recognition as a sovereign state and in effect allowing the entity to evade the necessity of final status negotiations with Israel that were mandated in the Oslo Accords signed by both parties in the early 1990s.

I love this thread, but I must admit what I truly know about the Freemasons you could put in a thimble!

My Mentor was a Mason, and he got saved at 32nd degree, if it's proper to say it that way? After sometime he told me, in really reading the Scriptures, he became very disoriented in his thoughts of Freemasons vs. Christianity!

Sometime after he had become a 33rd degree mason he said that he went to them and said, that he was leaving! They told him he was not going to leave the Freemasons, that him and his family would all be killed! He told them to do what ever they had to do, but that God would protect them and they could not kill him or his. This is just how he was with everything else in his life so I believe this to be true!

He told me once that memory and memorizing things were to key to fast advancing up the Mason ladder, so to speak. He did tell me at another time that most of the true things of the Freemasons were hid from most of it's members. He said some things (symbolisms) begin to change at the 32nd degree, but he said you have to remember God had me reading Scripture in a different light also at the same time.

He told me another time that at the 33rd degree, there were some satanic images that were clear as they could be and that he could not abide in any of the Freemasons any longer, and that's about all he would share with me. He said if he had not got saved when he did, that he probably would not have got saved at all; this he said after he had seen how they mixed the light and darkness together!

But he did share with me at several other times exactly what you are saying about, everything being of some kind of Jewish, ritual or symbols.

I ask him once, because he was very intelligent and anointed in the teaching of Scripture; if being in the Freemasons helped him in understanding the things of God? He said absolutely not! He said it may have helped him a little in recognizing the many symbolic things in the Old Testaments, but not the understanding of God's Word.

I find secret orders interesting. I really know very little of them. I am drawn by the mystery. Although, I do not believe in keeping secret the things of God.
