I was about 20 days away from being killed in the Kuta bombings. My friend and I, who were on a world tour in 2002, frequented the Sari Club and Paddy's Bar ooposite, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for a month until we left for Thailand.

When I checked my E-mail after arriving in Phuket, Thailand..I was horrified to see that there had been a huge terrorist attack in Kuta days before.
