A secular music artist hidden gem ...
To some anyways, perhaps. Just sittin' here taking in her "Between the Lines" album on youtube. This gal was writing songs of tremendous depth in her teens. Pound for pound, my favorite female artist/writer .... easily. Janis Ian. A coupla samplings Zone .... I'm sure you've heard her ? Just wonderin' if Doc ever has ? Late 60's,... early 70's ...

Glad you liked it Zone :) ....
Every now and then I give that album a listen. She truly is an amazing talent. Not a bad song on that entire album. I'd bet the farm that you know the last song I posted here ( a live performance when she was younger ... and the true measurement of an artist ... i.e... how good they sound live). One of those rare artists that many never get around to putting a face to the name .... that's all. All of the songs I've posted are off of the same album. Just a great piece of work. Hope all's well at your end. Love you too

Love em' ! ...
And the acoustic cello bass just makes them that much better in my book. It's like listening to a band with a violin accompanying. Once you hear it live, there's no going back. A classic Canuck band

Here's a name I haven't seen in almost 40 years ....
We had one of her albums in the house .... late 60's, early 70's. Naturally back in those days, I never played it ... lol But I have heard her on occasion since. She's been around forever it seems. A beautiful rendition indeed ! Listening to this stuff has motivated me to set up my electric piano again and do a bit of plunking. Putz with it for a while ... wait a year ... and do it all over again. It's all good
