Old Leaven in the Bread

'we must keep our eyes upon the Calendar of God..the Hebraic calendar, because God's time clock does not quit just because we are not paying attention'… This teaching seem to be very popular among many christians..
They are basically saying that God can only act according to certain time lines that He placed in motion eg: every event corresponds to a particular OT feast and how Jesus has fulfilled each but one (tabernacle) during His ministry upon the earth. as christians we also should celebrate these feasts in honour of God!
The teaching has been used to pinpoint the rapture, the second coming implying that these events must correspond to the particular feast days.

I must be blind, or may be need some Messianic reading glasses because in all the years that I have read my bible, I have never seen that teaching applied.

I recently debated with one who believed that christians should celebrate the passover and not the Lord's supper. It may be a contradiction in terms, but it shows the depth of the 'old leaven in the Bread' 1Cor10:17

Hi Doc; that debate took place on the LA Marzulli blog. The debate goes back some under another a pen name... yes, that Got banned. Louthesaint is of recent.. I had to use it Here on your Blog as my real name ..... for some reason would not register.. anyway; if you guys go there your bound to get banned as the site is strong Messianic dispensationalist come nephilim, UFO and what ever else "Tickles the ears" All who mention the Jews as Not the people of God are labelled anti-Semite. After my last confrontation as Louthesaint few days ago I thought I'd be banned But not so as yet.
