Gershom Son of.....?

(Judges 18:30) And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.
The idolotar Jonathon seems to be a descendant of Manasseh through Gershom.
But earlier in Exodus we see a Gershom the son of MOSES.
(Exodus 2:21) And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
(Exodus 2:22) And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.
Has there been some slight of hand in Judges trying to remove the link between an idolotar and Moses?
Is this the same Gershom?

No necessarily. There could have been many Gershom's running around during the
times of the exodus.

משה = Moshe (Moses)
Theres only one letter difference. The nun. N.
