The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God Empty The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God

Genesis 12:1-3
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 17:4
“As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations.

Genesis 17:7
I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

Genesis 17:19
And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him.

Genesis 18:18-19
Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.
For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.

Genesis 22:17-18
I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies...
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Joshua 21
43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

Joshua 23
1 And it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.
2 And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age......
14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. 16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.
Joshua 24
2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel....
13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods; 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. 23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
24 And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD. 27 And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God. 28 So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance.
29 And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. 30 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.
31And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of the LORD, that he had done for Israel.

Luke 1:54-56
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her own house.

The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God Empty Re: The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God

Galatians 3:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Matthew 1:1
A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:

Acts 3:25
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Philippians 3:3-9
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith...

Isaiah 66:1
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?

John 4:21
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Matthew 12:6
But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple.

Matthew 12:41
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas [is] here.

Romans 3:30
Seeing [it is] one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Romans 4:11
And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which [he had yet] being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

Romans 4:16
Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Galatians 3:7
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Galatians 3:9
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Galatians 4:21-31
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Exodus 3:14
God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God Thumbnail

John 17
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Who Really Owns the "Holy Land"?

Robert L. Reymond

These passages also highlight the unity of the one covenant of grace and the oneness of God's people in all ages over against the discontinuities injected into redemptive history by the Dispensational heresy that lies at the root of all the bad "land theology " being espoused today concerning Israel's so-called "perpetual divine right " to the land of Palestine. 9.

For the redemptive implications of this bad "land theology" see Knox Theological Seminary’s "An Open Letter to Evangelicals and Other Interested Parties: The People of God, the Land of Israel, and the Impartiality of the Gospel" posted on the Seminary’s website--www.knoxseminary.edu--under "Wittenberg Door."].

Very excellent putting together by Reymond. He knows these things of which it took me years to scratch together out of scriptures. But I'm glad I did Smile I can now verify his witness of God as speaking in all truth and understanding in knowledge and wisdom. A beautiful summary for sure, thank you for that link zone !! The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God Empty Re: The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God

Here is a copy of a letter from about 3 months ago I sent a bible student. She has renounced dispensationalism and futurism altogether! An occasion for rejoicing for sure Smile

(Land Promise)

Hi Dear Lady Saints of the Most High God of Abraham Smile

I sure enjoy the verses you four have come back with to further fill up the picture of these things we are sharing together Smile I sure do! So much can be said!

I hope you are well today. At least as well as can be on this temporary dirt ball we are currently scurrying about upon lol.

I thought to mention that, about this dirt ball called “earth”, that it was part of the Abrahamic Covenant and I didn’t mention it before. I’m sure that with all this wisdom I’ve seen from you that you probably know about this so I’ll just touch on it briefly.

The “land” promise to Abraham…

(Gen 12:1) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

(Gen 12:7) And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

(Gen 13:15) For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

There are a couple interesting points about this. In Abraham’s life, he never did “receive” the “land”. Yet God promised it to him forever.

Abraham not only didn’t receive that land made of “dirt”, he actually had to buy a portion of it with a cave on it in order to bury Sarah.

(Gen 23:15) My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.

(Gen 23:19) And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.

So what was Abraham’s understanding of “receiving” the “land”?

(Heb 11:13) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

(Heb 11:14) For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

(Heb 11:15) And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

(Heb 11:16) But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

This “Heavenly country” along with that “Heavenly city Jerusalem” is the land that Abraham knew was what God promised.

It is also why Jesus said;

(Mat 5:5) Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Our inheritance, being that we in Christ are the heirs of the Covenant of Abraham, is that same Heavenly Country that Abraham died in hope of receiving. (do back flips now! Smile

(ok, stop)

If we were left hanging as to what the land promise was, we might be susceptible to what we hear from the news and from modern theology, that the “land promise” is actually that plot of dirt over in Palestine.

As I attempt to describe the “Marriage” of God to Israel in Exodus, I’ll try to remember to constantly remind that “first that which is natural, then that which is spiritual”.

In the book of Exodus, the “Israelites” do receive “land”. But as everything else, that was simply the first “natural” fulfillment of the “land promise”. The new testament writers led by the Holy Spirit show forth their understanding of the actual Spiritual fulfillment, aka “A Heavenly Country”.

When we ponder the meaning of THAT… now we are getting into some real interesting pictures…

For WE OURSELVES are that “EARTH”!

(1Co 15:47) The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

To begin with, in our beginnings, we were as “dry as a desert”;

(Deu 32:8) When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

(Deu 32:9) For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

(Deu 32:10) He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

The Lord finds each of us in a desert land, just as He did Abraham, Isaac and Jacob;

(Psa 102:6) I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

But as we get “watered” by the Lord;

(Hos 2:21) And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

(Hos 2:22) And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.

(Jas 5:7) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

This desert of “myself”, in receiving His “rain” (Holy Spirit of course) Blossoms like a rose!

(Isa 35:1) The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

(Isa 35:2) It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

It is our prayer!

(Mat 6:10) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

“WE” the earthen vessels that we are;

(2Co 4:7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

He “plants” the SEED that would grow to be fruitful as spoken by the prophets, it is that “incorruptible seed”;

(1Pe 1:23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

It is within this “earth” of ourselves wherein we receive the planting of God’s “incorruptible seed” planted that is to produce much “fruit”;

(Mat 13:3) And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

(Mat 13:4) And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

(Mat 13:5) Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

(Mat 13:6) And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

(Mat 13:7) And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

(Mat 13:8) But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

(Mat 13:9) Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

This fruitful “earth” that sprouts forth of His incorruptible SEED is then being filled with the “Glory of the Lord”

(Num 14:21) But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

My mom used to make bread. She would put yeast in it and let it set at room temperature for a certain amount of time. This was so that the yeast could eventually spread throughout the entire lump and change its molecular structure. It would get “transformed”. The entire amount would transform just from a little bit of yeast. So Jesus said that about our “earthen bodies”;

(Mat 13:33) Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

So we look to when we receive this transformed earth! If we are meek, we’ll receive it! If we are patient, we’ll see this “Heavenly Country” within whom all of God’s children inherit as one great “earth” upon which the Heavenly City is founded upon. For this earth of ours is not this planet circling around the sun out in space. It is the “earth” of our bodies that the incorruptible seed transforms into that “New Heavens and New Earth”. (For in our baptism, that old heavens and earth passed away!)

(Rev 21:1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

(Rev 21:2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

So there is the fullness of the Abrahamic Covenant, that “Great Covenant” fulfilled. And as everything else we’ve seen, its ultimate fulfillment is God doing His Will within us, His Chosen People.

(Isa 65:9) And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

(Isa 65:10) And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

Blessings upon you who are his fold and his flock in the Valley of Achor!

The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God Empty Re: The Scriptural Story of The TRUE Israel of God

Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that
every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Can there really be an argument that there are still God's chosen people (By genealogy) who are Jews living in modern isreal?

Scripture says that those of the genuine Jews that didnt believe were DESTROYED!

In The Garden

When they came for Him in the garden, did they know?
When they came for Him in the garden, did they know?
Did they know He was the Son of God, did they know that He was Lord?
Did they hear when He told Peter, “Peter, put up your sword”?
When they came for Him in the garden, did they know?
When they came for Him in the garden, did they know?
When He spoke to them in the city, did they hear?
When He spoke to them in the city, did they hear?
Nicodemus came at night so he wouldn’t be seen by men
Saying, “Master, tell me why a man must be born again”
When He spoke to them in the city, did they hear?
When He spoke to them in the city, did they hear?
When He healed the blind and crippled, did they see?
When He healed the blind and crippled, did they see?
When He said, “Pick up your bed and walk, why must you criticize?
Same thing My Father do, I can do likewise”
When He healed the blind and crippled, did they see?
When He healed the blind and crippled, did they see?
Did they speak out against Him, did they dare?
Did they speak out against Him, did they dare?
The multitude wanted to make Him king, put a crown upon His head
Why did He slip away to a quiet place instead?
Did they speak out against Him, did they dare?
Did they speak out against Him, did they dare?
When He rose from the dead, did they believe?
When He rose from the dead, did they believe?
He said, “All power is given to Me in heaven and on earth”
Did they know right then and there what the power was worth?
When He rose from the dead, did they believe?
When He rose from the dead, did they believe?

Wow, Dillon got drawn back into talmudism? I didn't know that. Isn't that the dog turning back to his own... you know what stuff?

The funny thing, nobody can prove being a "Jew" except a Christian lol. How ironic, I love it!

Ashkenazi, Sephardim, religious, territorial, political or geographical... nobody can prove racial blood lineage to any tribe.
The fact is, all of us, whether Jew or Israel of the flesh, have lost any physical track.
But in the Gospel of Christ calling to those "out of the Nations" or "ekklessia", it is the blood descendents of those scattered into the nations (gentiles) blending together as "One Blood" Paul says. It is to this "Israel dispersed" to whom the Lord calls to "return to our Husband" in the new marriage covenant gospel. By this, Jews and Gentiles comprise "all Israel saved" when the calling of the Gospel is done.

The 10 tribes of Israel divorced and scattered, Now called and married to Jesus. Even the Jews knew this in their own warped way;

(Joh 11:51) And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; (two tribes of Judah)
(Joh 11:52) And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. (10 tribes of Israel)

(Joh 7:35) Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

The Jews knew that the "dispersed" of the 10 tribes were "gentiles" because they knew O.T. scriptures.

So when Peter went to the Gentiles to call Israel out, He acknowledges this very thing. Here is an example;

(Act 10:36) The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

(Rom 11:25) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

(Gal 6:16) And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Salutations Doc and Zone, the True Israel of God Called Out ones from the nations!

Revelation 3:12
The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

I'm willing to wager there are zero genealogical descendants of ancient Hebrews that are not Christians today.

Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Not that it matters obviously....there being no Jew nor Greek spiritually. afro

Interesting. Never heard that one before Doc. I'd take you up on that wager Smile

(Mat 22:14) For many are called, but few are chosen.

(Joe 2:32) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(Jer 3:14) Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

(Isa 1:9) Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

(Isa 10:22) For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

(Jer 23:3) And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

(Eze 6:8) Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

There is more of course. But what I see is that God "calls" a "remnant" of those people of scattered Israel.
Of those whom He "calls", (christians) only a "few" are "chosen".

But as you say, it is a moot point amongst the faithful remnant Smile
