Solving the Mystery of BABYLON THE GREAT
http://www.mysterybabylonthegreat.net/
People have wondered and debated for centuries about the identity of the mysterious Babylon the Great in the book of Revelation. This book examines the historical evidence in light of the scriptures and solves the mystery. The evidence leads to the ineluctable conclusion is that the Roman Catholic Church was established by crypto-Jews as a false "Christian" front for a Judaic/Babylonian religion. That religion is the nucleus of a world conspiracy against man and God. That is not a soft conspiracy theory based upon speculation, but rather the hard truth based upon authoritative evidence, which is documented in this book.

Re: Solving the Mystery of BABYLON THE GREAT
Jerusalem rules the nations through lending money. They all drink of her cup.
Prophecy tells us who will rule many nations. It is a blessing of God to Israel, and it even describes how they will rule over the nations. They rule by lending money to the nations.
Deuteronomy 15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Deuteronomy 28:12 "... and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow."
Of course, the harlot woman rules the kings of the earth.
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
The great harlot lends money to the nations to control them. This is the opposite of how a harlot operates; normally a harlot receives money from her lovers. Ezekiel 16:33 describes how Jerusalem plays the harlot, oddly enough, by giving money to her lovers, which is "contrary" to how other women commit whoredoms:::>
Eze 16:31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
Eze 16:32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!
Eze 16:33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.
Eze 16:34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
Does the fact that the woman lends money to the nations prove that she rules them? Yes! Deuteronomy 15:6 clearly shows that by lending money, she rules the nations. Further proof that the lender rules over the borrower.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Implications of this proof: If you study the role of gold in history, and the history of money, you will find that the international moneylenders control the nations through lending money to them, and that a portion of these bankers have a certain tie to Jerusalem.
This is not a racist view, nor is it a condemnation of Jewish people, nor of the nation of Israel, but rather, it is merely the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. In fact, this interpretation cannot and is not a judgment against the Jewish people, because the common people do not lend to the nations or kings of the earth.
In 2010, the literal city does not fit the prophecy, and the 7th beast riden by the harlot has not yet come into being. And the prophecy is not about a location per se; it's about a people in a location. The literal city of Jerusalem may not be destroyed, but the people who will practice the money lending to control the future world government will operate out of Jerusalem in the future, and they will be destroyed.
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes her laws."

The Great Harlot of Rev 17-18 is Jerusalem, & what that means.
Re: Solving the Mystery of BABYLON THE GREAT
Jerusalem is Babylon
(Rev 12:1) And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
(Rev 12:2) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
(Mat 12:48) But he (Jesus) answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
(Mat 12:49) And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
(Rev 12:3) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon...
(Rev 12:4) And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth...
what is the tail?
(Isa 9:15) The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
Who were the stars of Heaven?
(Gen 15:5) And he brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Which is in the singular "seed", which is Christ, the One Seed of Abraham...
(Gal 3:16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Who was the dragon trying to devour?
(Mat 26:59) Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
(Rev 12:4)...and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
(Mat 12:14) Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
(Mat 27:20) But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
The dragon is the serpent...
(Rev 12:9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Who is the serpent?
(Mat 23:29) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
(Mat 23:33)Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70 as Jesus foretold His disciples. He warned them in the Olivet Prophecy, He warned them again around AD 68 by sending the Revelation of Jesus Christ to James in Jerusalem prior, by giving the Revelation to John on Patmos, from there delivering John and the book to James.
Jerusalem was to suffer their burning destruction of that Great Whore that God pronounced upon them clear back in Leviticus 21:9.
An exegesis is the only way to understand the book.
God never changes His theme,
The Whore/Harlot/abomination/desolated/prophet killer etc... is the same one as we all read about consistently throughout the Old Testament.
(Gen 38:24) And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
(Lev 21:9) And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
(Mat 23:37) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
(Mat 23:38) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
(Isa 1:1) The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem...
(Isa 1:21) How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
(Jer 3:8) And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
(Eze 16:2) Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
(Eze 16:15) But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
The Jerusalem Harlot laid down with the Babylonians in the "bed of love".
(she 'married' herself to them')
(Eze 23:17) And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom...
Whore/harlot, abomination, desolation, burnt with fire... the curse is upon God's wife, the Jerusalem whore who WIDOWED HERSELF...
The exact same theme continues...
(Rev 17:16) And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
(Rev 18:7) How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
She widowed herself! But to this day denies it still!
(Rev 17:5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Who is she again?
(Rev 18:24) And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
Where are the prophets killed?
(Luk 13:33) Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Again, who is that desolated one?
(Luk 13:34) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
(Luk 13:35) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
(Mat 23:29) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
(Mat 23:30) And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
(Mat 23:31) Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
(Mat 23:32) Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
(Mat 23:33)Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
(Mat 23:34) Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
(Mat 23:35) That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
(Mat 23:36) Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
(Mat 27:25) Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
(Rev 17:6) And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus...
(Rev 18:21) And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylonbe thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
What is this "great city"?
Revelation 11:8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.
That "great city" is where our Lord was crucified." (Jerusalem, right?)
Revelation 17:18 And the woman that you saw is the great city which has dominion over the kings of the earth."
(consider how everyone today seems to regard it!)
Jerusalem, “code-named” Babylon, is found drunk with the blood of the saints, prophets, and all slain upon the earth. The same description Jesus Witnessed about Jerusalem.
Revelation 17:5 and on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of harlots and of earth's abominations."
6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her I marveled greatly.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of ALL who have been slain on earth."
Revelation 19:2 for his judgments are true and just; he has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants."
Because of her guilt, Jesus warns Jerusalem of her house being left desolate, and tells His disciples of it's destruction.
Matthew 23:37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!
38 Behold, your house is forsaken and desolate.
Matthew 24:1 Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple.
2 But he answered them, "You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down."
The disciples first question to Him... WHEN will this [destruction of the temple] occur?
Matthew 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?"
Luke 21:20 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is at hand.
21 "Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of the city depart, and let not those who are in the country enter the city;
22 because these are days of vengeance, in order that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 "Woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babes in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people,
24 and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Could this desolation Jesus warns of be the destruction of Mystery Babylon the Great?... initiated by the abomination of desolation? …the things of which Jesus warns us to be prepared for when He destroys the “Jerusalem beneath” because of her adulteries as seen in the Jewish Pharisees and those who follow after them?
He also told His followers, the Church, that they would be delivered out from that great destruction...
(Mat 24:16) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: etc etc
The Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah, warns "the daughter of Zion", (pictured here as a harlot), and describes her desolation.
Jere 4:27 For thus says the Lord, "The whole land shall be a desolation, Yet I will not execute a complete destruction.
28 "For this the earth shall mourn, And the heavens above be dark, Because I have spoken, I have purposed, And I will not change My mind, nor will I turn from it."
29 At the sound of the horseman and bowman every city flees; They go into the thickets and climb among the rocks; Every city is forsaken, And no man dwells in them.
30 And you, O desolate one, what will you do? Although you dress in scarlet, Although you decorate [yourself with] ornaments of gold, Although you enlarge your eyes with paint, In vain you make yourself beautiful; [Your] lovers despise you; They seek your life.
31 For I heard a cry as of a woman in labor, The anguish as of one giving birth to her first child, The cry of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath, Stretching out her hands, [saying,] "Ah, woe is me, for I faint before murderers." (The Church of Christ, being delivered out of Jerusalem/Babylon right prior to Titus crushing and burning it in AD 70)
7:34 "Then I will make to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land will become a ruin... (God is no longer married to Her)
26:2 ...'Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, who have come to worship [in] the Lord's house...
9 ...'This house will be like Shiloh , and this city will be desolate, without inhabitant'
Jerusalem and Babylon both drink from the cup of the Lord's anger.
Isai 51:17 Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the Lord's hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.
Reve 16:19 And the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.
One angel with a bowl said, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great HARLOT..." (Rev 17:1-19:4.)
Jerusalem is repeatedly referred to as the Lord’s harlot bride in the old Testament.
Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem...
21. How the faithful city has become a harlot, she that was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
Ezekiel 16:2 "Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations..." (read whole chapter)
Jeremiah 2:2 "Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the LORD, I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown...
20. "For long ago you broke your yoke and burst your bonds; and you said, 'I will not serve.' Yea, upon every high hill and under every green tree you bowed down as a harlot. (see Jer.3.)
Revelation 21:9..."Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb."
10 And in the Spirit he carried me away to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem... (The Church of Christ)
Just before the 7th trumpet, the two witnesses/prophets are slain in Jerusalem (see Rev. 11:8)
Just after the 7th trumpet is sounded, an angel declares, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great..." (Rev. 14:8.)
Is it just a coincidence, or are the two events (prophets being slain and Babylon being judged) related, possibly being a fulfillment of Matt. 23:34-35?
Matthew 23:34 Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from town to town,
35 that upon you may come ALL the righteous blood shed on earth...
In the middle of all the tribulation upon that Jerusalem harlot, there is proclamation of glad tidings concerning the deliverance and marriage of Christ's Church Bride, the New Heavenly Jerusalem...
Rev 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God (Rev 13:6) is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them...
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God...
24 And the nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory into it.
25 And in the daytime (for there shall be no night there) its gates shall never be closed;
26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it;
27 and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
So we have learned from an exegesis of God's word, the "New Heavenly Jerusalem" above, is the Mother of Christians. The heirs of the Abrahamic Covenant. We also have learned that wicked Jerusalem that is "beneath", ais ka the "mystery babylon".
A good question to those who might doubt this would be, what is the big mystery in "Mystery Babylon" if it is the same as historical Babylon?
It is because Israel became "one" with Babylon in bedding down with Babylon in whoredoms as the Lord described in the above verses.
If one can set aside the time, definetly read and compare Ezekiel 16 and Revelation 18. They are virtually identical. Jerusalem/Babylon.
Also, how much clearer than Galations 4 can the Lord be in revealing this “mystery”? (Gal 4:22) For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman. Gal 4:23 Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise.
24 Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar.
25 Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children.
26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.
30 Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman.
31 Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a handmaid, but of the freewoman.
The Coming of the Lord, as described to the Disciples by Jesus Himself, is as an intimate “conceiving” within, as a Woman pregnant with child…
Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.
Joh 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.
Joh 16:15 All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.
Joh 16:16 A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.
Joh 16:17 Some of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
Joh 16:18 They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.
Joh 16:19 Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?
Joh 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
Joh 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but when she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.
How wonderful! Within us is the “Son of God” conceived, by the RECEIVING of His Incorruptible seed, by which we are “Born from Above”!
(1Pe 1:23) having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.
(1Pe 2:2) as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;
This is an "Exegesis".
It means, letting God teach out of His Word.
It is quite differant from an "Isogesis" way of reading the Bible.
An "Isogesis" manner of Bible study is to follow after someone else's ideas and guidance as to what it "MEANS"... and that is the path to great delusion and controversy.
EXEGESIS, remember that word and that manner of learning from God my dear friends.
Now we know who that "dragon" is to beware of!
Beware the leaven of the Pharisees!

(Gen 15:5) And he brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

(Gal 3:16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

21 "Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are in the midst of the city depart, and let not those who are in the country enter the city;
25 And in the daytime (for there shall be no night there) its gates shall never be closed;
26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it;
27 and nothing unclean and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
(1Pe 2:2) as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;
