Re: Egypt Crisis
The outcome of this tsunami of activism is uncertain, but stormy waves means it is surf's up for Wall Street. The civil unrest gives them the perfect excuse to justify what can only be described as outright fraud and manipulation of the oil markets.
Re: Egypt Crisis
The situation in Egypt proves that there are forces at work far greater than governments; greater than genuine fundamentals for oil; and powerful enough to co-opt an unprecedented solidarity movement of a region -- they're called Banksters
Re: Egypt Crisis
Hey there, you unsuspecting american public!
You enjoyed the Saddam marionette show, well now showing, live, from the soon to be green obsidian covered desert sands...
"When US puppets go rogue part II" !!!
Yes, you too can now enjoy from the comfort of your own home, watching the US turn it's ever wandering policing eye from Iran, now to Egypt.
Now that Iraq is out of the way and irreversibly nuetered, economically and politically, and Afganistan is effectively mopping up every last vestige of faith the American people have in their leaders, we NOW turn to their older cousin to the west! So settle in with your favorite snack, (if you can afford it) kick your shoes off and watch as the USA finishes off our very own economy! Yes, you too can watch as our armed sons (and now daughters!) can not only go and get brain damaged or slaughtered, but thanks to our wise and ever progressive leaders, can also learn how to overcome that nasty homophobic trait they suffered from prior to being butchered by Islamists!
And now a word from our sponsers!
(hi there! have you noticed anything tasting funny in your water lately?...)
hoo boy, that was fun

Re: Egypt Crisis
The present situation in Egypt is the result of having the US mid-east foreign policy created in Tel Aviv, transmitted to Versailles-On-The-Potomac by AIPAC with huge amounts of cash (or the threat of huge amounts of cash to opponents in the next election) and made policy by venal and corrupt representatives.
For a couple of decades, we have given Egypt a couple billion dollars each year for the Egyptian government to pretend they don't hate Israel and to "play nice" with Israel.
This deligitimises any government in the eyes of their people who do hate Israel and don't get a cut of the US bribes. The current Egyptian government does not represent the feelings of most Egyptians while the Muslim Brotherhood does.
What we are seeing is the result of having a tiny minority with great wealth and power whose first and strongest loyalty is to a foreign country populated by their ethnic brethren instead of the country in which they are citizens.

Re: Egypt Crisis
sa 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
Isa 19:21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
Isa 19:22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
Isa 19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
Isa 19:24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
Isa 19:25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
Is Obama going over there?
