Hang on a sec . How can we be the clouds if we see Him coming in the clouds?

Forgive me (OrthoUSA Lolz) I'm new to this.

Because we are His Body.
The inhabitants of the earth see Him come in the clouds of witnesses.
That is how He comes.
He's been coming that way to folk for 2ooo years now.
A man of God came to me. He was of the clouds of witnesses by which the Lord Comes in His Glorious Gospel, gathering us up and dividing us sheep from goat.
That is the coming of the Lord.
Doc, when you preach the gospel, you are another water droplet of the Holy Spirit of the Body of Christ that He is using to water this planet with His early rain and latter rain. That IS the rain.

He comes to us as explained all sorts of ways with one exception, a "second coming" is unscriptural. Unless you understand that as being fulfilled on Pentecost.
Christ being born in you as a woman heavy with child is how he comes as He explained it another way to His disciples.

(Joh 16:19) Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them,Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
(Joh 16:20)Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
(Joh 16:21)A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

He came by His Holy Spirit to His Wife in that upper room, flowing out from them as water;

(Joh 7:39)(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given;because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

His "coming" brought The Kingdom of God is within us.

(Luk 17:21)Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

We are come unto Mt Sion, to Christ.

(Heb 12:22) But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels
(Heb 12:23)To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
(Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that ofAbel.

He knocked, we opened the door and He Came into us by His resurrected and glorified Holy Spirit, washing us with the water of the word, regenerating us.
We are then, as fountains of living waters by which the Lord uses us to water the nations.

And on and on the scriptures go about how this works

His Parousia is real.

(1Th 2:19)for what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? are not even ye before our Lord Jesus Christ in his presence?

Yes sir. I say literal 2nd coming as well. The Scriptures say.."EVERY eye will see Him".

Interesting way of seeing it Son' , Question though:


Revelation 11:11-12(2 witnesses)
"But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.
And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here " Then they went up into heaven in the(a) cloud, and their enemies watched them. "


The two witnesses(wheather actually TWO...or if thats just a figure of speach...), will be caught up, in...Me?...you? How dat?

I always thought the Clouds were the chariots(cherubim)

Yes i agree also a literal coming and the clouds, are just that, clouds.

At the moment I'm going with a literal return to the sky. My end times scenario def. doesn't have Jesus touching down on Earth.

If he shows up 'as he is' and that means in his current glorified state , there is no possiblity of continued history. What ever is not also glorified will be destroyed.

Hmmm, my bad! I haven't seen this thread since Feb 2. In fact, one of the reasons I wasn't around was because I didn't get any notifications by email, I wasn't subscribed for some reason.

Excuse me if I dont get all intellegent and theological with you all, but this morning I missed church because of the hour change thing. So the kids wanted a bible study this morning instead of going to another church. So since the Japanese earthquake just happened, I decided to tell my 2 boys about Matthew 24 for about an hour. Ive told them about this chapter many times but I dont know, I think this time they were really listening and got scared. I think it is good though, it means they will probably have the desire to read more into it, maybe discuss it with friends, maybe perhaps think about God in a new way that it is not just a story but real.
