Marie Stopes
This is just a little research thread I'm getting together for Randy.
Feel free to contribute if you have any info.
Randy had a frightening experiece with this clinic recently regarding his unborn baby.

Marie Carmichael Stopes (15 October 1880 – 2 October 1958) was a British author, palaeobotanist, campaigner for women's rights and pioneer in the field of birth control. Stopes edited the newsletter Birth Control News which gave anatomically explicit advice, and in addition to her enthusiasm for protests at places of worship this provoked protest from both the Church of England and the Roman Catholic Church. Her sex manual Married Love, which was written, she claimed, while she was still a virgin, was controversial and influential.
The modern organisation that bears her name, Marie Stopes International, works in over 40 countries.[1] In 2008, there were 560 centres, including 5 in Bolivia, 9 in the UK, 10 in Australia, 25 in Kenya, 24 in South Africa, 48 in Pakistan and over 100 in Bangladesh.
~
Advocacy of eugenics
Stopes was a prominent campaigner for the implementation of policies inspired by eugenics, then not a discredited science. In her Radiant Motherhood (1920) she called for the "sterilisation of those totally unfit for parenthood [to] be made an immediate possibility, indeed made compulsory."
She contributed a chapter manifesto to The Control of Parenthood (1920), comprising a sort of manifesto for her circle of Eugenicists, arguing for a "utopia" to be achieved through "racial purification":
"Those who are grown up in the present active generations, the matured and hardened, with all their weaknesses and flaws, cannot do very much, though they may do something with themselves. They can, however, study the conditions under which they came into being, discover where lie the chief sources of defect, and eliminate those sources of defect from the coming generation so as to remove from those who are still to be born the needless burdens the race has carried"
~
In 1935 Stopes attended the International Congress for Population Science in Berlin, held under the Nazi regime.[3] She was more than once accused of being anti-Semitic by other pioneers of the birth control movement such as Havelock Ellis.[4]
As came to public attention in years later, she was a personal as well as political follower of Adolf Hitler:
“Dear Herr Hitler, Love is the greatest thing in the world: so will you accept from me these (poems) that you may allow the young people of your nation to have them?” (letter from Marie Stopes to Hitler, August 1939[5]
After her son Harry married a myopic woman, Stopes cut him out of her will. The daughter-in-law—Mary Eyre Wallis, later Mary Stopes-Roe—was the daughter of the noted engineer Barnes Wallis. Stopes reasoned that prospective grandchildren might inherit the condition.[6]
Supporters of Stopes including Family Planning NSW (formerly the Racial Hygiene Association of New South Wales) generally concede that she made such remarks, but argue that they should be read in their historical context; i.e. that eugenics was more politically correct than 'family planning' at the time.[7]
Following the death of Marie Stopes in 1958, a large part of her personal fortune went to the Eugenics Society.

Woman sues Marie Stopes for 'medical negligence' after abortion
19 April 2011
A woman is suing a Marie Stopes clinic for ‘medical negligence’ after an abortion allegedly exacerbated her mental health problems, the Christian Legal Centre (CLC) has announced.
The woman does not want to be identified and the CLC has said only that the clinic was in the south west of England.
Andrea Williams, chief executive of the CLC, said: “This was a woman in distress who was put on the abortion conveyor belt by Marie Stopes. Her partner was allowed to book the abortion and cancel the counselling session.
“She wasn’t given any counselling or space to allow her to consider what she really wanted.”
The CLC said the woman wanted to know why her medical history was not addressed, why her moral beliefs regarding abortion were not respected and why she was not given any counselling.
According to the CLC, if the woman had been given counselling, she would not have decided to have an abortion.

Mother of six sues doctors for abortion trauma
By Sandra Laville
12:01AM GMT 14 Dec 2001
A MOTHER of six who believes abortion is murder is suing one of the country's leading pregnancy advice centres for failing to give her adequate counselling before she terminated a pregnancy.
Elizabeth Toop, 45, told the High Court yesterday that she was so mentally traumatised after undergoing an abortion following advice from Marie Stopes International that she felt compelled to have another baby.
The court heard that Mrs Toop, from Cambridge, who already had five children when she became pregnant again, had always believed that abortion was murder.
But when her contraception failed, her husband felt it was not the right time for her to have another child, and reassured her: "Don't worry about the cost . . . we'll get rid of it."
Although Marie Stopes says in its leaflets that "All clients are fully counselled to enable them to make an informed decision", Mrs Toop is claiming this did not happen in her case.

Marie Stopes International Press Article:
Vietnam targets HCM sexual health
Vietnamese women have been offered free sexual health care in six suburban districts of the capital city.
A total of 73 hospital words and health centres have joined a programme to provide treatments to girls and women aged 15 to 49 without charge.
It is aimed at reducing the spread of sexually transmitted diseases after a survey showed that 36.3% of women in the city do not what type of preventative measures to take, according to Dr Nguyen Quoc Chinh.
Dr Chinh, the deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Reproductive Health Care Centre, will work alongside the Vietnam Women's Union to draw up a plan on how to effectively run the check-up programme at the health centres.
The Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Health has been encouraging doctors to offer free reproductive health care to women since 2006. Over the last two years, 124,621 patients have been examined, while 40,000 have received treatment.

Re: Marie Stopes
I'm pretty sure this is Randy's testimony. Hope he doesnt mind me posting it:
The Marie Stopes International (MSI) here in Nha Trang Vietnam (there
are 8 located throughout Vietnam) gave my Vietnamese wife a lovely
presentation of EVIL. She bounced in all smiles, beaming from ear to
ear with bliss after learning from the conception indicator that she's
pregnant. We are both so happy. So, she went in for her first check up.
The doctor told her that she's 6 weeks pregnant and asked her twice if
she wanted to keep the baby. So, after my wife clearly told the doctor
that we wanted the baby, this doctor examined her (no stethoscope) and
said with heavy alarm that there was no heartbeat...(6 weeks) ... And
then this evil doctor told my wife to come back in 2 weeks and if they
don't have a heart beat they need to abort the baby. My wife came home
crying and very upset.. I calmed her down and we did some basic research
and found that depending on the baby's position and other factors it is
not common to hear the heartbeat until 10 weeks and usually 12 weeks.
there are documented cases of even 16 weeks. Further research has found
that Marie Stopes a LONDON BASED COMPANY.. performed over 100,000
abortions last year in UK and received 60 MILLION POUNDS FROM THE BRIT
GOVT... I'm sure they must receive billions of dollars internationally
to PUSH ABORTION....
MARIE STOPES CONFESS YOUR SINS AND REPENT.. GOD SEES WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

Tackling gender inequality in Vietnam
Poverty and cultural attitudes in Vietnam mean many women still die in childbirth, female foetuses are aborted and sex is a taboo subject
Single young female workers who have migrated from the countryside find it particularly hard to access sexual health services due to discrimination and long working hours in factories. These women make up 56% of migrants but are often paid less than their male or city-born equivalents. Although the government recognises their economic potential, its efforts to safeguard their reproductive health have been inadequate, with past campaigns targeting married women. However, its draft plan for improving reproductive health over the next 10 years acknowledges the needs of "ethnic minorities, adolescents and immigrants".
In the meantime, the gap is being bridged by NGOs such as Marie Stopes International, which runs mobile contraception and safe abortion programmes for migrant workers in Ho Chi Minh City.

Marie Stopes International is an International Non-Governmental Organisation working on Sexual and Reproductive Health with headquarters in London, UK. It is named after Marie Stopes a Scottish author, campaigner for eugenics, women's rights, and a pioneer in the field of family planning. Marie Stopes is a pro-choice organisation, and provides a variety of sexual and reproductive healthcare services including advice, vasectomies, and abortions in the UK.
In 2010, Marie Stopes International's 629 centres, across 40 countries provided seven million couples with health services, including family planning; safe abortion & post-abortion care; maternal & child health care including safe delivery and obstetrics; diagnosis & treatment of sexually transmitted infections; and HIV/AIDS prevention.[1]

Non-governmental organization, or NGO, is a legally constituted organization created by natural or legal persons that operates independently from any government. The term originated from the United Nations (UN), and is normally used to refer to organisations that do not form part of the government and are not conventional for-profit business. In the cases in which NGOs are funded totally or partially by governments, the NGO maintains its non-governmental status by excluding government representatives from membership in the organization. The term is usually applied only to organizations that pursue some wider social aim that has political aspects, but that are not overtly political organizations such as political parties. Unlike the term "intergovernmental organization", the term "non-governmental organization" has no generally agreed legal definition. In many jurisdictions, these types of organization are called "civil society organizations" or referred to by other names.

Check this guy out...a western consultant for MSI Vietnam:
Working with Marie Stopes Viet Nam this weekend
This weekend I'm volunteering my time by training Marie Stopes Viet Nam
on Service Quality. I'm exhausted from a full day course. To fly to
Hanoi, I had to fly from Phnom Penh to Laos. However, MSIVN is a
wonderful organization.
I have another full day of volunteering
tomorrow and then I leave for Phnom Penh on Sunday. I then teach
Service Marketing on Monday morning to undergraduates and in the evening
to DBA students. Thank goodness for Services Marketing 5th edition by
Zeithaml, Bitner, and Gremler. This is an incredible text!
MSIVN
currently has seven centres located throughout Viet Nam, in Ho Chi Minh
City, Hanoi, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Binh Duong and our newest centre opened
in Can Tho in 2007.
These clinics offer a full range of reproductive
health services including family planning and contraceptive methods,
general reproductive health checks including breast screening and pap
smears, safe abortions and post abortion care, ante-natal check-ups and
HIV testing and counseling services.
All clients and their
partners are treated and counseled in an environment that is
non-threatening, non-judgmental and caring. Confidentiality is assured
at all times.

Thanks for posting the evil of Marie Stopes
thank you brother.
Something to add: My wife told me of other accounts where young friends were traumatized and DNC'd scraped out (aborted) as early as 4 weeks.
One Vietnamese girl was horrified, thinking that if she didn't abort the baby it would effect her own health even to death.
Marie Stopes and other organizations that push abortion.. Confess your grave sin and Repent.. Turn to Jesus Christ NOW... The end is near. You will be judged and cast into the lake of fire.

The views expressed on this site are entirely those of its author and do not represent the views of the Fulbright Program, the U.S. Department of State or any of its partner organizations."
How unfortunate life is. Once again, in 2009, Jews, or let's make the anti-Semites happy, Israelis, are being falsely accused of taking the organs out of Palestinians.
For centuries, the Jews of Europe and more recently, Arab countries (Syria), have been falsely accused of using the blood of Christians for drink or for mixture in their Passover matzoh. These horrific, false, and idiotic statements are then used to rouse a crowd to begin the murder of innocent Jews, under the pretext of Christian murder.
