here's just one link (a little dramatic - opens with music, so mute before opening) looking at some of the Charismatic activity we see today.

is this stuff biblical? i'm interested in casual conversation, personal testimonies, anecdotes, etc...but mainly what does The Word say about this phenomenon? and what does the Spirit within (if ye are born again) testify of it?

I spent some time in Pentecostal churches and I've visited many of them.

Unless you're a member of a less intense Pentecostal church, I don't know how you can go very long without realizing that what's going on is a cheap imitation.

Non-Mormon studies show that Mormons live longer, ten years longer for men according to one study. The reason is a healthy lifestyle. I'd wager that Pentecostals have below-average life expectancy, even though they, like Mormons, tend not to smoke or drink. Why are they dying at all?

I have also been to a few penticostal churches, they are not for me, it seems worship becomes a show. iam not saying they are not blievers in Christ I am saying they have false teaching in with the truth. No doctirne is perfect however.
